Joxer Daly's. I've mentioned it in the forums and many of you have emailed me asking about its location. I finally decided it needed a feature as there is just too much to cover in a blog post.
I like to drink and I like to eat. I also like to watch auto racing. Not big oval stuff but GT cars and F1. Joxer Daly's is a community pub in Culver City catering to not only the small and few F1 fans but all sports. At any time you can walk in to the pub, past the front areas relaxing patio layout, through the front door and see any number of activities on the numerous televisions. 
Being an Irish pub you will find "soccer" playing almost always backed up by good old American baseball. The atmosphere can best be described as a more visceral version of "Cheers". You won't hear "NORM!" shouted as you walk in but you will get a friendly wave or even hug from one of the lovely ladies behind the bar. Hell they will even help you wrap your Friday lunch by partaking in an afternoon Jager-Bomb with you! A unique place for sure.
I suggest the Fish'n'Chips or the "Minis". Really I get BOTH most of the time. The Minis are these tasty little cheesburgers, a plate of four. Quite amazing they are. The fish has that classic Irish/British style flavoring that is impossible to resist.
They have many items on "tap" as well. Including a cider, which was surprising. You'll find all the favorites here on tap, Guinness, Newcastle, and so on. They have a healthy spirits collection too. You can order a "cosmo" if you want but you might get thudded on the skull by one of those very same ladies behind the bar. Try and keep your "man card" firm in your grasp while checking out Joxer Daly's.
If you keep track of the F1 schedule we always watch the race on tape the following Sunday around 1pm. We leave when our wallets are empty and walking upright is a challenge.
