I'm not sure what the rest of the USA is like, but I have observed that here in Detroit it is much easier for a thin guy to be with a fat girl than the other way around.
In a way I think it comes down to simple numbers, there are more single thin guys than single thin girls; hence, once the single thin girls are taken the single thin guys then opt for the next available weight category.
The obvious downside is that this situation is not very favorable for fat guys, as both the thin and fat girls are taken by the abundant amount of thin guys.
I'm really curious to hear how thing are in the rest of the USA, and what observations the rest of you have made.
