Fascinating article...

 

I'm not sure I buy this particular explanation, though maybe the new 3G frequencies have something to do with it... If they are a part of it I'd guess it's more likely the towers than individual phones of course... much higher power and likely to be closer to the hives.

 

Regardless of the cause it's pretty alarming.
